Dogra Degree College Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana, Jammu organized a function to commemorate the birth anniversary of the founder of the erstwhile state of Jammu & Kashmir. The celebrations began with paying of floral tribute to Maharaja Gulab Singh by all the staff & the students of Dogra group of Colleges in the college auditorium. The Portrait of Maharaja was garlanded by the Chief Guest. To mark the day a guest Lecture on the topic “Contribution of Maharaja Gulab Singh in formation of J&K” by Dr. Jigar Mohammed, Prof. & Dean, Research Studies Centre, University of Jammu was organized.
